Why 76 Corvette out the smoke in the engine compartment?
I have a 76 Corvette. I'm trying to figure out this problem and maybe someone can help. When I started this car running with the choke. Just before she opened the carb the motor started to issue minor smoke. It seems to come from between the exhaust manifold and engine. The smoke is not too heavy does not look super-white light burns cooler. Smoke usually starts form after walking for one or two minutes. Any ideas what can?
350,396,400,427,454. They all have a tendency to oil off the valve cover gasket even after they wore new.gently tighten all the bolts on the valve cover starts from the inside and then working with out.Sounds way you like you have a small oil leak from the gasket.
